VR systems for procedural training, based on special purpose computer image generators Aksai (1985) and Albatross (1988) and on Wondows based PCs (1994) were developed. They were intended for briefing, basic preliminary training and complete training of military pilots and cosmonauts, Since 1990 one of them was used for "Mir" docking simulator trainer at Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center. Currently, it has been upgraded and is used for an International Space Station docking simulator-trianer.
